Seasons Greetings!
Christmas is here again... In the recession period, does it have any negative effect? I guess so ya? But i can see people making effort to celebrate christmas. Gifts may be small..but the effort and thought is bigger than anything else.
Christmas isn't all about gifts, chocolates and candies. It is a season for sharing. With families, friends or even a stranger...the gift of sharing. Share an umbrella with a stranger..it makes u feel as warm as receiving a gift..
And though Xmas cards are a waste of papers somehow or another, but it carries more than just christmas wishes. It is the conveying of cares and love for people you put in the corner of your heart all the time...despite not meeting often, not chit-chatting on phone for months etc... :)

Love & Sex
Which of it comes first? Many have different views. However, i feel that there is no right or wrong answers. Some people who had the latter can also happen to fall in love much later on. Though the possibility of it happening is maybe 0.1%, but it does happen. Maybe not you nor around you...somewhere, some place, some one...might have.

女人
单身的女人有什么要求？对很多人来说，奢华的生活是一种享受。也许有一小部分认为家庭和事业是生活的主要。。。但我并不认为。那种买东西的快乐，很多女性应该了解吧？可能经济不景气，但是饭要吃，衣服要买，生活不会因为如此而停顿。我总觉得旧的不去新的不来。。。所以很多事都要去执行，去付出。。一直在原地踏步的生活并没有错。。但是会让自己感觉被遗弃。。被这个社会遗弃。。。人不一定要跟得上潮流。。但一定要不停进步。。东西要翻新，人也一样。 女人不只是样貌要翻新，知识要增进。。实力也要超强。。。这样才不会被排挤！

Never Hear What Was Not Meant For You
Often, we tend to ignore when people are talking to us. However, we tend to listen when the things said are not meant for us to listen -- which we often hear people say " kaypo". After hearing those things that were'nt meant for us to hear, assumptions, guesses and illusions will start to cloud our mind. Eventually, nothing but trouble comes. At the end of the day, we feel upset about everything....but initially, things was not the way it was.

Rainy Season
Seems like the rainy season is back. Keeps raining in the morning when everyone awakes to find the gloomy sky. Well well, the sun needs a break i guess. :)

容忍
Everyone has their own level of tolerance towards different things or people. I believe that the level of tolerance signifies alot.
我觉得人不管对事物还是人都有自己的极限。。。每个人的容忍度都不一样。 我相信一个人如果对某些事物或对某些人的容忍度越高，就代表了那样东西对他来说有一定的重要或意义。。。但是，我也不否认很多时候，容忍是因为身不由己。 可是，如果不重要，也没有必要容忍。 容忍是为了大家好。如果两个人在一起，没有了容忍。。很多事都会闹得不欢而散吧？ 不管是情人，朋友，同事或是两个陌生人，其中一定有些容忍在里头。
如果你目前/曾经体会过一而再再而三地容忍一个人，是不是因为在乎呢？还是因为身不由己？如果因为在乎，那你自在乎的那位应该至少占据了你的情感50%。 为什么呢? its because only the closest person to you will hit 90-100%, and that is the only reason why you can be tolerant no matter what he/she/they do to you. Be it a thousand or a million times, your tolerance is like an infinite immunity vaccine. Once injected, its for life. So, if that person you care for, hits 50%, its more than anything you can imagine. I guess if you ask me, my friends probably hits a range of 20-40%...only one or two will hit 50%. Like what i always hear from people "朋友可以有很多，但知己一两个就够了"。 i guess thats what it meant.

筹款募捐
看了那场新加坡的筹款节目, 我有些搞不懂. 到底是要炫耀新加坡人多有爱心还是很有信心一定会筹到很多善款? 整个节目虽然很动人, 但是句句呼吁人民捐五十元或五十元以上的话语从主持人的口中说出..因该让有些人感到不舒服吧? 也许是人性的自卑...很难说.
我明白很多新加坡的朋友都深深了解灾民们的痛和苦...我也看到了他们那份向帮忙的意愿. 可是,捐不捐款,有没有爱心并不是看你捐的多或少. 难道捐出大笔的善款就代表了很多爱心吗? 那也未必... 我不否认这些钱可以帮助到很多灾民. 但是在这个时候,他们应该也需要更多的爱跟支持吧?
听到某艺人为了灾民,私自搞了一些活动等等...让我感到很敬佩. 这份心, 是金钱买不到的. 我希望人们在献出爱心的同时, 自己也可以从中学习...学习如何珍惜所拥有的和珍惜眼前的一切事物...大家要团结和加油! ! Small actions may be a huge motivation to others. You are already doing the right thing by living right.

惜福
这几天听着中国四川的地震事件,大家是否也跟着担心也同时庆幸我们的地方没有天灾? 很多人都活在自我的世界里...所以也许对此事件并没有太多感想. 那并没有关系, 很多事情,我们并没有资格和立场去批评别人...但是, 我想请大家在吃着香喷喷的米饭时,把一分对那些没有饭吃的人的祝福带在心里,尽量不要浪费米饭! 悠闲地走在大街上时,不管雨天或大热天,要感谢上天让天气那么美好! 在睡得很甜美时,要记得感恩,感谢神让夜晚那么平静. 因为,比起很多人,我们也算是幸福的...虽然人会不断进步,不断更新,不断要求...但在与此同时,一定要懂得惜福!

A Promise
I dont understand why people give promises. Ask yourself what you can do for others before saying things like FOREVER, ALWAYS, NEVER etc. Is there really a 'forever'?
Some people just put it across like any other words they say everyday. However, it never occurs to them that such simple words can create huge impact. Have you ever been questioned when you say " i love you forever" or "I'll never do that"? Did anyone posed a question to you: "How do you know that there is a forever? Doomsday might be nearing" or "How can you be sure you will never do that? You think you are a saint?"
I might sound ridiculous here. BUT, spend 2 mins to think about it. How can anyone be so damn sure about such things when you do not even know what is going to happen the very next minute! Therefore, do not give empty promises. It will only bring false hopes and hurt to the other person.
Today, if you have made a promise to someone, be sure to fulfil it.
Enjoy your Wednesday.

Pessimistic People
Read in someone's blog today that there are many sad people around. However, many tends to overlook how big this problem could get. As everyone progresses in this world, they tend to carry more stuffs on their shoulders...as the load gets heavier, they feel more stressed...And as this stress increases, their mentality gets weakened. (but this depends on the will power of that individual). Some people can live with stress that you can never imagine it to be...whereas some cannot take stress. Working stress, Emotional stress, Studying stress, Relationship Stress...and many many more. Its never ending. You just cant finish naming them!
Thus, to step up to the standard of this world, everyone is carrying with them loads of stress and problems. Which is very sad to know. But what could we do? Nothing. We can only live cheerfully with hope that tomorrow will be a better day...Without hope, nothing else will come into the picture...because, no hope, no life.
So, i agree that we should live to be happy and meaningful no matter what happens.

很快, 我们又会步入新的一年....
一切好像一个大圈圈...
人, 不管走到哪里, 还是会回到一样的起点.
那意味着很多事情,都由不得我们去控制.
改变, 反驳..到最后, 都不也一样回到起点吗?
那么, 我们还需要执著于那些无畏的事情吗?
看开一些, 或许, 在起与终的距离之间, 我们会体会到更多, 更美, 更值得去回忆的事物! 让我们为这可能更美丽的旅程放开胸怀吧! 只要肯踏出第一步, 你就值得被鼓励~

CrossRoads
Ever been on the crossroad? i believe most do. A simple decision making process can end up complicated if your mind and heart is going the opposite direction. Im sure that feeling sucks big time doesnt it?
I too have been in such situations many times before. Career, Love, Property, Investment or even Friends. Sometimes, you just do NOT know what to do. Or, which is best. Everyone wants the BEST for themselves and their love ones. But, difficulties and obstacles occur each and every time. That is why you reach a crossroad, forcing yourself to choose 1 side. Like everyone says, its near impossible to have the riches of both worlds. Nothing is ever perfect. Imperfectability lives in each of us and in the whole wide world.
When you really have to decide, follow either your heart OR your mind. Opinions may be of good references...but, they ultimately arent the things you are thinking of. Either they are opposing or they are neutral. YOU have to be the one deciding what's the best option.
Alright. Im getting alittle out of box here. The bottomline is to be sure of yourself and not sit on the fence.
What's the best decision you've made so far? =)

Fugitive Escape
The police said that they believe the fugitive that has escape is still in Singapore. Hopefully they can arrest him soon. Otherwise, the citizens will be endangered. No one knows what will he will do. Revenge? Probably.
School kids, workers, old folks. There are people everywhere on this small island. Should there be a small action, many will be affected.
Calling all citizens to be cautious and alert when doing marketing or shopping on the streets. Even when you are home, be sure to lock up your gate. Small precaution may be of great impact.

What's Going On Out There?
Grumbles, complains and gossips, everywhere i go, many are unhappy. Why is it so hard just to hear something nice? Things like "I've had a great day!", "It's simply wonderful" etc...does not seems to exist at all! All the good things, the samaritans appears only on the news or papers. How often does it happen to me or you? I bet the unhappy moments are countless if i were to ask.
There are many problems out there. Salary,workload, human relations, colleagues, family members, disputes with neighbours, conflicts in interest and so on. Whatever you name it, everyone can come up with more than a thousand problems they are facing! Try asking someone you are on close relations with, i am sure they will start telling you millions of unhappy issues they encounter. I am not exagerating. Haha. Discontented faces appears everywhere! Buses, MRT, taxi drivers etc. People are complaining about everything!
But, if they were to compare themselves with people over the world, i am sure they are some out there who really deserve our deepest sympathy. They too deserve our admiration because they didnt let their problems get them down! They still strive hard to make a living, struggle to make ends meet. What's more is they arent complaining!
That is why, be happy with your current situation. You MIGHT NOT be the worse creature on earth. Be contented...smile, the problems you are facing will seem much smaller than you THOUGHT it was.

This year will be another lonely year. Nevertheless, Valentines' day will still be as nice with wonderful pals.. Had a great dinner, a fabulous evening.
For those who have a partner, pls be nice also when its not V'day. Human beings are sensitive creature, especially when it concerns a WOMAN. Being nice, considerate, caring and understanding can also bring smile and simple blissfulness to your special one.

Prosperity New Year
Gong Xi Fa Cai !!!
Hope the year of the RAT will be a prosperous one! Again, its the beginning of the whole zodiac cycle...Rat being the first symbolised that we have all gone through another 12 years...good for some, bad for others...
Nevertheless, i truely hope everyone will try to do their best to the human race. Disasters and illnesses are befalling on human beings. Lets wish for the best in terms of health and world peace. Money comes in 3rd...cos it cant bring about the Top 2.

Dangerous Operation @ Woodlands
Received a text from my friend last night, telling me how pissed off he was. He got FINED!! Haha...alright, laughing at this time doesn't really sound appropriate.
Okay..the thing is he got stopped by the officers @ the operations set up at woodlands to spot check and issue summons to those who are smoking or possess illegal cigarettes.
And according to my friend, the officers are not very polite to those who are 'innocent'.
Well well, what can i say? Those who got caught shouldnt do illegal stuffs. If people out there finds the local cigarettes unaffordable, then jolly well wuit smoking! You can even save the amount paid for those illegal cigarettes!!!!
Anyway, hope those who got fined will learn their lesson and be extra careful or stop doing illegal things the next time!

Chinese New Year
8th day of the new year. Why does it seems like a long time has passed? I must be dreaming. Anyway, hope you all had a wonderful start for the new year.
In another 4 weeks, the year of the pig will be gone and the rat will arrive. Year of the Rat...i believe many will seek the fortune and 'feng shui' of their houses, career, family or love life. But to what extend is it true? It might play a part in our lives...but the main portion depends greatly on your heart and mind.
