A Promise

I dont understand why people give promises. Ask yourself what you can do for others before saying things like FOREVER, ALWAYS, NEVER etc. Is there really a 'forever'?

Some people just put it across like any other words they say everyday. However, it never occurs to them that such simple words can create huge impact. Have you ever been questioned when you say " i love you forever" or "I'll never do that"? Did anyone posed a question to you: "How do you know that there is a forever? Doomsday might be nearing" or "How can you be sure you will never do that? You think you are a saint?"

I might sound ridiculous here. BUT, spend 2 mins to think about it. How can anyone be so damn sure about such things when you do not even know what is going to happen the very next minute! Therefore, do not give empty promises. It will only bring false hopes and hurt to the other person.

Today, if you have made a promise to someone, be sure to fulfil it.
